Changing the direction...
Hi everyone!
I have been working a lot on the game over the past weeks. Not just in terms of asset creation and programming, but also in terms of story development. Sadly I came to the conclusion that most of my ideas aren't feasable as a single developer. I went over the details in this video:
Of course I still want to make a good game! But I decided that trying to incorporate a complex story will not make the game any better. It will just introduce a whole lot of extra time spent developing it. And even if I manage to put that complex story in, I won't know if it's any good in the end.Instead I want to focus on making a good, playable experience, by utilizing what I'm good at. I hope you all agree, that that is the right approach.
This may or may not result in some changes regarding the features and story bits I've already talked about. Like on the game's itch page or on the devlogs I made so far. Just so you are aware. Have a nice day!
