Version 0.8.0 is out!
Hi everyone!
I know it has been a while since the last update. A lot of stuff happened this year. In addition A Home in Darkness needed to be reworked in many aspects compared to the previous version. Artstyle, Story, Rituals to learn, code robustness, etc.
Because so much has changed, I can’t give you a complete changelog. But I did update the game’s itch.io page to reflect the changes in the story and art.
I consider this update to be an in-between update. Meaning, I primarily put this new version up, to show that the game is still in active development and to present the changes.
I’d have liked to add more to this update, but that might have delayed it by a couple more months. I didn’t want that to happen.
While you can explore the new house and find new items, the plot of the game still isn’t complete!
This version doesn’t have a dedicated point to end, but you’ll notice once there is nothing more to do.
I do my best to release the next update in a much shorter time span. But of course I can’t make any promises. Remember, I also got a Youtube channel where you’ll get updates of the game in the form of devlogs.
Thanks for your patience, I hope you’ll like the update. Until next time, bye bye.
