Version 0.9.03 released
Hi you might be wondering why there is already another version of the game available.
I'm currently trying to get the game running on lower end hardware and need to make changes frequently. Making a new public build is currently the easiest way to distribute the new test version to all my testers.
Anyway here's what's new in 0.9.03:
- reduced vertex count and texture size for the health pack. This reduces the overall file size of the game and has some performance improvements on lower hardware (the model just wasn't optimized)
- Added a debugging tool to quickly swap between different levels. Currently this is used to swap between two versions of the same level to test hardware compatibility. But this will be useful for testing new areas quickly as well, without having to play the whole game every time.
Until next time bye bye.
