A Home in Darkness
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Survive the horror by performing rituals
A Home in Darkness
is a survival horror game, much in the vein of Alone in the Dark,
Silent Hill and Resident Evil. However unlike in those games you
aren't limited to shooting your way through enemies.
Instead you can perform
rituals to fend of supernatural powers!
Figure out what entities haunt you and based on that research arcane spells in old tomes.
You might be able to survive one encounter, but can you hold out until all
evil has been purged?
Become a master occultist
In order to survive supernatural encounters you need to see the signs and act accordingly. Read occult books to gain knowledge about the enemies haunting you. Soon you’ll understand the many steps and complex conditions to performing the right ritual. Making you just good enough to have a fighting chance!
Knowledge isn't everything! A steady hand when drawing symbols with your mouse is just as important. Don't slip with your hands, or the ritual might not work.
Lift the darkness of your home town
You play as John, your average everyday person. However the world has turned upside down since demons, ghosts and other supernatural beings start to show up seemingly out of nowhere. Worried about your family in your home town, you decide to visit them. Hoping they are alright...
