Version 0.1.1 released!
A Home in Darkness » Devlog
Hi everyone! I just uploaded version 0.1.1 of “A Home in Darkness”. I’ve reworked a lot of the underlying systems, allowing me do add new features to the game. I’ve tried my best to already add new content to the game for this update.
So what is included
in this version? Here’s a list:
- Music when enemies spawn
- Additional sound effects when reading books
- 3 new books added
- You are now able to take certain items from shelves and in close up
- You can now take a look at the whole house, which has been completely reworked!
- Added tutorial popups
- Instead of a gui text for current clock time, you can now figure out time by interacting with clocks
- Fixed an item duplication bug
- System for button prompts was reworked to also be usable for tutorial text
I also made a devlog on Youtube, talking about the music creation and why I reworked the level:
I wish you happy holidays and a good start in 2021! Bye, bye.
